PFGRC to End Acceptance of Requests for Microarrays and Custom Cloning Services on August 1
Dear Colleagues,
The Pathogen Functional Genomics Resource Center (PFGRC) is in the process of winding down its services associated with DNA microarray and Gateway clone production and distribution.
For DNA microarrays, the last day to submit requests will be August 1, 2010. The PFGRC Pathogen DNA Microarray oligo and printing designs have been submitted and are publicly available from GEO Datasets for investigators who would like to use these designs to order microarrays from another source. The GEO Accession Numbers are listed in the following table.
For Gateway clones, the last day to submit requests for custom clones, clone libraries, or knockout clones will be August 1, 2010. The PFGRC is in the process of transferring its Gateway library clone inventory to BEI Resources. BEI Resources will subsequently provide access to the Gateway libraries.
Please note, because these activities are coming to an end, all requests will be reviewed, prioritized, and approved based on the remaining PFGRC resources available for these services.
It has been the privilege of the PFGRC staff to serve the infectious diseases and biodefense communities over the past nine years and we look forward to collaborating with many of you in the future.
