Bioinformatics Resource Center (BRC), Pathema, to host 3-day Jamboree
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) sponsored Bioinformatics Resource Center (BRC), Pathema, is announcing registration of participants for a free three day Pathema Annotation Jamboree on May 13-15, 2009 on the JCVI campus. The objective of this jamboree is to incorporate expert annotation data into the existing Pathema-Bacillus and Pathema-Clostridium genome submissions, update existing annotation, tag annotation with updated experimental references, and provide the community with the opportunity to become familiar with the annotation procedures in place at JCVI. Pending interest and approval by our funding agency, JCVI intends to cover the costs associated with 3 nights lodging (includes breakfast and shuttle transportation to and from the hotel and JCVI) and 5 meals (2 dinners and 3 lunches). JCVI will NOT cover transportation to and from the Rockville area.
